Hotels
The picture above shows a 6m tall x 5m artificial cherry tree.
The trunk is fabricated and the branches are timber. The foliage is inherently fire retardant cherry foliage.
When we fitted the tree we needed to erect it on a 1st floor room. In order to do this our installation team built the tree in sections so that they were able to get it round corners and then fit it all together when in position. The tree is screwed to the floor beams for stability.
This goes to show that even if you don't think it's possible to have a large feature tree like this indoors due to the access, we can always find a way to give you the type of statement replica tree and plant display that you desire!
The bespoke artificial plant trough display pictured to the right is at a Hotel spa and all of the trees and plants used, including the Heliconia Palms, are UV protected .The plants were chosen and positioned in the trough to give a really lush and full look and once set out the team added a setting resin to keep them in place.
This is a great way to have a fantastic lush plant look all year round with no maintenance.
Featured Plants
If you are looking to create a display like the one above, think about the space you are working with and try to choose plants that compliment each other. Our installation team can work with you to try and create the design that you have in mind and will suggest plant and tree combinations that they know will give you the height and depth that you require. Often a feature plant is required that will be the main focus of the display and then the rest of the display is built around that. The artificial plants and trees that were used in the hotel pictured above are are available to buy online and are shown below.
Cafe's, Bars & Restaurants
Opposite is a bespoke artificial plant installation that the team carried out at The Lamp Room, a coffee and bistro restaurant in Seaham.
On this project we used real fallen timber to create a tree growing from a planter which spreads across the ceiling into a beautiful canopy under which diners can sit and enjoy a drink or meal.
We used our Artificial Inherently Fire Rated Cream Blossom for the foliage which comes in 118cm stems perfect for adding to some branches.
These trees/canopies can be any size and a variations of Real Timber trunks for this project we used some slim trunks added together to get more coverage on the brickwork wall.
Restaurant Artificial Foliage Display
The View, a beautiful local beachside restaurant at Tynemouth, were looking to increase the amount of seating space during a recent refurbishment and hit upon the idea of creating beach hut style booths. The booths would be large enough for 8+ people and would provide the perfect space for families and friends to celebrate birthdays and other occasions. To make them extra special, the team at Replica Plants were called in to design a bespoke artificial plant installation.
With practicality firmly in mind and in order to maintain the large and spacious feel of the booths, the team quickly ruled out using plants or trees that would take up space on the floor, the table or the walls. Instead they decided to use the redundant overhead space to create a stunning display using our fabulous Cherry Blossom foliage, intertwined with lush green Eucalyptus foliage.
Combined with the warm, soft lighting, these bespoke creations helped to soften the space and add a wonderful splash of colour. The result...a truly stunning beach hut setting in which to enjoy a meal in comfort. The added benefit for the client is that our replica plant installations require virtually no maintenance aside from the occasional dusting.
Stunning 5m tall olive trees with Underplanting
These are a series of 4 artificial bespoke inherently fire retardant olive trees. They are made from artificial moulded stems and inherently fire retardant olive foliage.
The trees are made in sections then erected on site. This was due to access restrictions. The trees are on flat base plants and then in planters. The baseplates are screwed to the building through the planters.
I am sure you will agree they look great with the design within the room.
